For people with nobody to show them the way
Someone from the city
You want to try hunting or fishing but don't know the land or the people. A guide takes care of the ground, the gear and the safety.
The new hunter in the family
You have your licence, not the experience yet. A first hunt with a guide means learning in the right place, with someone who knows the game.
The visitor from abroad
From France, Europe or the US, you dream of a black bear in Québec, an elk in Alberta or a salmon in British Columbia. Find who offers that trip, where, and at what price, before you buy your ticket.
How it works
- 1
Pick your species and dates
Moose, black bear, walleye, brook trout… and when you are free. The map keeps only the guides who offer them, with a trip that fits your dates. Your species are kept for next time.
- 2
Spot the guides on the map
One pin per offer: orange for hunting, teal for fishing. "Featured" offers stand out with a gold ring and a star. Share your location and each guide shows how far away it is.
- 3
Read the offer and pick a date
What's included, how long it lasts, the next departure and the other dates, the region and the price per person when the guide gives it.
- 4
Tell the guide you're interested
After a short ad, tap "I'm interested" (signed in with Google): the guide gets your name, your email, your phone if you give it, and the date you picked. Follow the answer in "My requests"; once they accept, you see their contact. No middleman, no fees.

Tips before you go
Frequently asked questions
Is GuideNord free?
Yes. GuideNord is free for people looking for a guide: you browse the map without an account, and you sign in with Google only to send requests to guides. It is also free for guides and outfitters who want to list their offers, with the same account.
Why do I watch an ad before contacting a guide?
A short, optional video ad is what keeps the app free for everyone, users and guides alike. After the ad, you tap "I'm interested": the guide gets a request with your name, your email and, if you give it, your phone. You follow it in "My requests", and once the guide accepts, you see their phone, email and website.
Can I book or pay for a trip in the app?
No. GuideNord does not take bookings or payments. You send the guide a request with the dates you picked; they contact you, or you reach them once they accept, and you agree on dates, price, deposit and conditions with them directly.
How are guides checked?
Every offer is reviewed by our team before it appears on the map. That review does not replace your own checks: before booking, ask the guide which licences and permits they hold, and confirm the rules with the province's official sources.
